Dear vacationer!
In the last two years there maybe have been stable timetables - weeks and
months in advance, but these timetables had been changed several times and
without any announcement by the shipping company. I was hardly able to catch
up with that on this website. The plans were absolutely not reliable and
hence not useful for vacation planning's. I hope for you that the situation
this year is better.
The only thing that may help you this moment
is, that you can count at least on that there will be at least one ferry
from Alexandroupolis and back during the season.
Maybe you are looking for a ferry connection Athens-Samothrace over Lesvos
and Limnos. Maybe you are looking for a ferry from Kavala to Samothrace.
Currently, this connection is cancelled. There is no information about if
and when there will be again a ferry to Lavrio, Mytilini (Lesvos), Limnos,
Samothrace, Kavala.
And a last note: All shipping offices, where you can buy tickets to
Samothrace or Alexandroupolis, are depending on commission. If you are told,
that it would be better to buy immediately both the tickets for there and
back, then it is not for your advantage, but only because the shipping
office wants to collect twice the commission. If the sailing time changes,
it could be even a disadvantage for you, because you have to pay for the
ticket change.
