An enchanting place with rich vegetation. It marks the north-easterly point of the island where the tarred road ends and the mountainous mass of the Fengari begins its sudden plunge into the sea.
This is one of the best beaches on Samothrace being composed of fine, small volcanic pebbles.
Some people camp out on the beach despite the fact that it is absolutely forbidden for reasons of protection of the environment. Those wishing to camp on the island, may choose between two public campsites; one organized site and one free style
