How we keep it real
- No invented reviews, ratings, counts or scarcity. We do not copy reviews, descriptions or prices from booking platforms; they contribute links only.
- Every place shows a photo: its own, a booking platform's photos credited by name, or a photo of its village, labelled as the village.
- The practical guides (ferries, seasons, emergency numbers) were last checked in August 2026. Place pages show when they were last updated.
How the guide is paid for
- Booking links: when you book a stay, a car or a trip through our links (Booking.com, Vio, Agoda and others), we may earn a commission. You pay the same price.
- Paid listings: local businesses can pay for a Featured or Premium listing, which shows their contact details and Simple booking. Paid listings are always labelled, and in the trip planner they come first only when they fit your trip as well as the others.
- Simple booking: guests message a business directly on WhatsApp. No commission is taken on either side.
