Base Outdoor Activities (B.O.A.) organises canyoning on Samothraki, where more than ten mapped routes run down the island's gorges, combining walking, swimming in rock pools, jumps and abseiling down waterfalls. Guided trips are the safe way to go: the rivers change after rain and some descents need ropes and experience.
