Food on the sand at Pachia Ammos
Nickolas runs the taverna and beach bar on Pachia Ammos, one of the very few sandy beaches on Samothraki, at the end of the road through Lakoma. It is the only place to eat on the beach, so it is handy for a long day by the sea.
The menu covers fish from the Aegean and local dishes, with drinks and coffee from the beach bar. From here, boats in summer have taken visitors along the south coast to beaches like Karkani that roads don't reach.
